I find a lot of pleasure and joy in creating beauty, in finding the beauty that exists around us, in noticing the details and in bringing a real felt sense of self into our spaces.

This list is what comes to mind when I think about intentional design. It is the list that would serve as our roadmap to help bring life to the space you desire…

Creating as an act of healing

letting our sensory experience be our guide

considering your aesthetic and engaging with the process

what is the purpose of the space

what is your point of view

form and function

designing with purpose and connection

setting the tone

telling a story / cohesion

materiality

what is the focal point

I am not a trained designer. I dont have any degrees or accolades in this area and this has its limitations BUT I am happy to consult, to help a project get off the ground, to help create a story board and choose materials and overall layout and feel, to help make sure the space you are calling in is going to represent YOU, is going to flow and work for you, is going to feel cohesive and thoughtful and is a healthy and well space to occupy.
